Q: Why are the periodicals not for loan? |
Reading Service |
A: Periodical is an important channel for scholars to publish new academic knowledge, so the new
issues of periodicals are highly demanded. Besides, the method of publication for periodicals is
different from books, and most of the periodicals will not be reissued or reprinted after the issue month.
The library has to avoid damage or missing in order to keep the full collection for all instructors and
students to use, therefore the periodicals can only be used inside the library. |
