計畫簡介
壹、計畫內容摘要
「全球化」對於當代世界劇場的創作、交流與影響甚鉅,擴及的層面至少包括:創作藝術家們的跨國家、跨文化、跨媒體、跨領域的合作(當然也有誤解、差異與衝突),較之過往,彼此之間的適應與協商成為劇場創作之更為必要;本土文史題材的挖掘、傳統文化藝術的重新詮釋與改編,深化在地身分的文化認同,並藉此積極思考轉化為文化創意產業的可能性,使「在地」得以全球化;在語言的翻譯與「前語言」的共感之間,一方面尋找適應當代文化轉變的劇場創作與表達語彙,另方面也探索當代觀眾面對諸如「新文本」與「後戲劇劇場」之類的劇場審美新經驗。
當代世界劇場的研究已經無法再故步自封,肯定得要面對全球化與跨文化的趨勢,即便是在地劇場歷史、現象與問題的研究,也應該試著置放在全球化與跨文化的脈絡當中思考,當代劇場研究者應該儲備至少兩種以上的視野:「亞洲在地」與「全球跨界」。
為此,本計畫在 貴會公告議題的規範之下,積極規劃相關圖書的購置,以建構本校的圖書館藏成為國內兼具「亞洲在地」與「全球跨界」兩大特色的圖書館,擬購置書單的主題包括:歐美紐澳劇場史與表演研究、亞非拉美傳統與當代劇場與表演研究、亞洲當代華文戲劇、跨文化劇場、後殖民劇場、當代劇場新潮(新媒體科技劇場、數位劇場、跨域合作劇場、形體劇場、編作劇場、技術與設計劇場等)、劇場與跨文化研究、新劇本及戲劇顧問等。 關鍵詞: 亞洲在地、全球跨界
Globalization has great impacts on the creation and interchange in the contemporary world theatre. It is important that theatrical artists need adjustments and negotiations much more than before in international, intercultural, inter-media and interdisciplinary collaboration. With studying of local cultural and literal motifs, reinterpretation and adaptation of traditional culture and arts, deepening of cultural identity, we make “the local” globalized and possible in cultural creative industry actively. Between translation of vocal language and resonance of “pre-language”, we try to find the creative way to represent the cultural exchange, and also to explore the audience’s aesthetic experience towards new writings and post-dramatic theatre.
The contemporary scholars of world theatre must deal with the trends of globalization and crossover. Even the studies on history and phenomenon of local theatre, they still consider the issues and topics within the context of globalization and crossover. At least they should have two perspectives, Asian local and global crossover.
Under the protocol of the project, we plan actively to construct our library with two dimensions of contemporary world – Asian local and global crossover – in Taiwan. The subjects of the books we plan to buy conclude history and performance studies in Euro-American and New Zealand and Australia, traditional and contemporary theatre and performance studies in Asian-African-Latin American, contemporary Asian Chinese drama and theatre, intercultural theatre, postcolonial theatre, contemporary theatre trends (such as new medias theatre, digital theatre, inter-field collaboration theatre, physical theatre, device theatre, technology and design), theatre and intercultural studies, new writings, dramaturgy, and so on.
